Is there anything about your character that you personally related to? Well, I think the charm of this drama is how it portrays feelings like "cute" or "I like this" as such a positive kind of power. For me too, the older you get, the harder it is to honestly say "I like this" or "this is cute." Sometimes you end up holding back, but I really love that this drama affirms those feelings. Also, for the character designs this time, Sanrio actually gave us amazing support. Seeing the process behind the making of things — how people's passion and love come through in a character — I really learned so much from Sanrio, and I'm truly grateful. Thank you so much. Matsumoto-san, this is your first time working with Sano-san, right? Yes, first time. How has it been, doing a drama together for the first time? Given our characters' relationship, there are quite a few scenes that get pretty intense. Yeah, quite a few. Right, there are scenes where afterward we're both just wiped out, like we forget to breathe. But your ad-libs come at a pretty fast pace, don't they? Honestly, I mostly just go "uh" or "um," and Wakana-san is rattling on so fast, it must be tough for her. Right, basically. But she keeps throwing in ad-libs out of nowhere. Oh wow, really? Yeah, exactly. Is that so? It's hard not to burst out laughing. Right, and since it's a long line, I don't want us to have to cut, so could you tone it down a bit? Why? Let me have some fun with it!
